While his parents are toiling away in a food processing plant in Seoul,
Shon Sun is drafted in the army. But being prey upon and abuse, he
deserts. Back in Seoul he finds out his parents have disappeared. Intent
on finding them, he embarks on a journey through the contaminated
jungle his father was born in.

Just watched this

It's a slow burner but you have to be patient to experience the magic.
This is a depressing film.

The first part is quite disturbing coz it involves male rape in a military camp.
There's a lot of nudity in the first half and it's surely intended for the gay audience.

I love the second part coz it concerns about environmental pollution.
It also connects to the dilemma of the protagonist.
The scenes are really poetic.

It's a haunting art film.
I like it a lot.
