| Neil is your typical teen. Shy, uncertain and yearning to fit in, he has a penchant for creating homoerotic fiction featuring his favorite hero, Vanguard. Unfortunately, it’s a talent that elicits derision and disgust from most people-except kindred spirit and fellow slash author Julia. With her encouragement, Neil finds himself on a funny, bittersweet path of self-discovery where his writing is as blossoming as the exploration of his sexuality is embarrassing. Writer/director and Austin filmmaker Clay Liford’s newest creation is a journey where Neil must deal with an array of frustrating hurdles and awkward surprises; or just part of growing up.

| This is all about amazing acting. The material could be too slow to some mainstream watchers but this is intended for indie lovers.
Great chemistry from the two leads.
The main character's dilemma about his sexuality is really relatable. Most of us experienced the same thing. I like how they depicted the situation. Really genuine.
Generally, I love it. It's a smart loquacious film.
