In the early morning Pierre leaves Paul. At the wheel of his Alfa Romeo, he crosses France, its plains, its mountains, without a precise destination, letting himself be guided only by the people and landscapes he encounters. Pierre uses Grindr, an application of his mobile phone that lists and locates the opportunities of hookups. But Paul also uses it to follow him. After four days and four nights of encounters - sexual or not - will they find each other?
A kind of ode to cruising writ large, to the intransitivity of cruising... And there's something endearing, if not uncanny, about the way the film evokes universal truths about erotic wandering. -Slant Magazine
The poster says.... THE FILM HAS SO MANY EROTIC SCENES.
It's a marketing strategy of course. Unfortunately, I've been waiting for the "many erotic scenes" but there's only one and it's not even that erotic. It's a boring sex. There's a "whisper sex" behind the wall but it was really stupid.
The film is like a travelogue. Most of the running time are consumed on the driving scenes of the protagonist who is so good looking by the way.
The script is not that engaging too and most of the conversations are boring.
RATING : 2/5
Thanks Marcus by the way coz I've seen the beautiful side of rural France.
