After 12 years of absence, Louis,
a writer, goes back to his hometown, planning on announcing his
upcoming death to his family. As resentment soon rewrites the course of
the afternoon, fits and feuds unfold, fueled by loneliness and doubt,
while all attempts of empathy are sabotaged by people's incapacity to
listen and love.

The most controversial film from Xavier Dolan. He was booed in Cannes for winning as Best Director.
Well, the Oscars recognized this. So BOOOO to his detractors.

Thanks Marcus. Can't wait to watch this later.

Huge French Cast here.

Speaking of French... Congrats Miss France for winning MISS UNIVERSE 2016.

Oh I forgot the post my thoughts about this film.
One of the best films I've seen. Technically, the best!

It won numerous awards in the Canadian Oscars recently.

The one award which I really applauded was the Best In Make Up.
This film is all about close up shots.
Picturing all the facial expressions UP CLOSE!
The flawless make up is just mindblowing.
No wonder they won.

The cinematography??? I'm speechless. They're just inside the house all the time but the shots are gorgeous.

Fantastic performances from all of them.

Of course, Xavier Dolan's direction is the winning element.

RATING : 5/5
