| “Concrete Night” opens in a cramped, concrete-jungle home. Ilkka, the elder of the two brothers, is leaving to serve a prison sentence. During Ilkka’s last 24 hours of freedom, his younger brother, vulnerable Simo, follows the brother he admires through the fateful events of that night. Pirjo Honkasalo’s bold and perceptive urban film is a dream-like odyssey about a fragile mind of a young boy and the loss of innocence. With English Subtitles Here OR Here

| The movies poster says it all STUNNING - Visuals DREAM-LIKE - Scenes POETIC - Script GORGEOUS - Cinematography
oh they forgot...KINDA BORING. Ha ha ha
Actually, it's a beautiful boring film. They forgot to put spice on the script. It's less engaging.
However, technically the whole film is astounding.
The fantastic black & white cinematography made me finish watching the whole thing. So amazing.
RATING :4/5
Thanks for this Marcus.
