Xolani, a lonely factory worker, travels to the rural mountains with the
men of his community to initiate a group of teenage boys into manhood.

Compelling film from South Africa! I hope they will be nominated at the Oscars.
Already on the Shortlist !!!

This is so controversial by the way.

A must watch!!!

Really incredible film making.
I love it!

Thanks a lot Marcus!

P.S. The Eng sub is not perfect but it's really fine. It helped me a lot to understand everything easily.

Thanks ever so much - I was really looking forward to this! By the way, I have already presented the film's star, musician Nakhane Touré, on GayCultureLand: http://gaycultureland.blogspot.com/2016/09/nakhane-toure.html
I've been in touch with him, as well as with Majola (Khanyisa Buti): http://gaycultureland.blogspot.com/2017/04/majola-khanyisa-buti.html
These two are South Africa's most important gay musicians.

I thought they were just ordinary people they plucked out from the mountains to play here.
Gosh, they're so believable. Kudos to them.
