|  Petro is a gay archaeologist who experiences the naked Greek paranoia in the
center of Athens. Either by choice or coincidence, he comes into contact
with people who are "different": A gay Egyptian immigrant, who comes to
Greece, a land of "infidels", determined to conquer it by any means; A
Greek-French girl and cello player, who is burdened by the agony of her
alcoholic mother; A young Albanian pianist, who carries the curse of his
own personal genius and divinity; A Greek expatriate, who has nowhere
to call home; A bank director, who believes everything can be bought,
even love; A policeman, who creates his own version of socio-political
reality. Petro's contact with these people is in fact a traumatic
experience. For each encounter he has to pay a price. Sometimes the
price is material, while other times it's emotional. At times it is
both. Will the experience gained make up for the loss?
About the English subs : Our gay immigrant hero, Hussam, is Egyptian and speaks
poor Greek with mistakes and Arabic accent. Therefore some subtitles
contain errors in Vocabulary / Grammar on purpose !! E.g. the sound /
letter 'p' does not exist in Arabic - it's substituted by 'b' , hence I
write 'pbotato' , 'pbay' etc for potato, pay etc.Other examples : "she
know me" instead of "she knows me", or "baddest" i.o. "worst" etc.
Ο βασικός ήρωας, ο Πέτρος, ένας γκέι αρχαιολόγος, επιδιώκει να
επικοινωνήσει με το «διαφορετικό»: τον Χουσάμ, νεαρό γκέι Αιγύπτιο
μετανάστη, και τον φανατισμό του Ισλάμ. Την Αλεξάνδρα, Ελληνογαλλίδα
τσελίστρια που έχει επιφορτισθεί την αλκοολική μητέρα της. Τον Λαέρτη,
Αλβανό πιανίστα που κουβαλά την κατάρα της ευφυΐας του. Τον Στρατή,
Έλληνα μετανάστη που επιστρέφει «άπατρις» στη χώρα του. Τον Δανιήλ,
διευθυντή τράπεζας που πιστεύει πως όλα εξαγοράζονται, ακόμα και τα
αισθήματα. Τον Μιχαήλ, αστυνομικό που κυνηγάει μετανάστες, ενώ πλάθει τη
δική του ιστορικοπολιτική πραγματικότητα. Η επαφή του Πέτρου με τους
έξι αυτούς ανθρώπους είναι κατ` αρχήν μία εμπειρία τραυματική. Για κάθε
μία καταβάλλει και ένα αντίτιμο, μερικές φορές υλικό, άλλες καθαρά
ψυχικό, άλλες πάλι και τα δύο. Το κέρδος τής εμπειρίας θα καλύψει την
απώλεια;

| Mindblowing cinematography. It's like watching the Oscar winner "Roma" by Cuaron.
It's an intense drama. I feel the young Egyptian lover. He's that cute guy from an another Greek film Xenia. He's really amazing.
